One Piece Chapter 1135 title: Cups of Friendship
Saul introduces Biblo (ビブロ – BIBURO), the owl library’s chief librarian. He says that Biblo has existed for many centuries in Elbaph and every book that enters his domain becomes big.
Since the News Coo doesn’t go to non-government affiliated countries like Elbaph, a fishermen brings the newspaper into the library to make it become big for them to read it.
After hearing how the owl’s ability works from Saul, Lilith concludes and explains that this owl most likely ate the “Iku Iku no Mi” and became a “Nurturing Owl” (育成フクロウ – ikusei fukurou). It can only gigantify inorganic/non-living things. A perfect ability that works well in the land of the giants, says Lilith.
Luffy was playing with the giant kids on the swings but the children gets scared. Nami beats him to a pulp. Usopp was beaten too but he said he was trying to stop Luffy.
The kids jumped to Gerd’s chest and cries. Luffy gets angry at them because that’s not how a warrior should act. Sanji tries to stop Luffy because he says the children of Elbaph are meek and kind. But the kids were just pretending and smiled in a perverted way, just like Momo when he pressed his face against Nami and Robin’s chest. Sanji gets angry and says “IS THIS A UNIVERSAL BEHAVIOR? YOU SHITTY KID!”
Luffy is sad because of the peaceful demeanor of the kids but Usopp tells him that it can’t be helped because Elbaph became peaceful.

one piece 1135 mangaAll of a sudden, Collun, the giant kid that Shanks was talking to the bar, attacks Luffy. His wooden sword breaks against Luffy and Luffy throws a punch at him with Gear 3rd – Elephant Gun but Collun dodges it (Idk if the kid really dodged it or Luffy intentionally missed).
Usopp says Luffy is overdoing things. Luffy says “But It didn’t hit him”. The giant girls says Luffy is scary and they hate violence. Collun is impressed with Luffy. Luffy says Collun is one gutsy kid (like how a warrior from Elbaph should be). Collun is impressed. He says “As expected of an Emperor!”. The giant kids says they hate Collun because he is violent.
Ripley scolds Collun a bit but praises him as his attack was quite good. They’re mother and child. Ripley says his father was a human and a former pirate, and says he’s as strong as a giant. Ripley said that her husband is younger than her, and her husband didn’t want the only one to be aging (because giants live long) so he didn’t marry Ripley. Ripley says she has always been a common-law wife. (A wife but not officially married. The Japanese term is “内縁の妻” – “naien no tsuma” – de facto wife; common-law wife)
Robin, Lilith, Chopper and Bonney wants to stay in the library. Luffy says they’ll go on ahead to the feast cause he’s still hungry.
Franky said that Elbaph island itself is the Treasure Tree Adam. Saul said that there are other Adam trees around the world but that the age of the one in Elbaph is incomparable. (Most likely the oldest)
Gerd asks them a favor, which is to wear new clothes made by her. Brook, Franky, Jinbei and Robin all now wear the same type of Elbaph (viking-like) clothing as Luffy and the others. (Luffy and the first Straw Hats that came to Elbaph didn’t changed their clothes). Gerd says her hobby is making human clothes and she is very pleased and thankful that they tried it on.
Cut to the Western Village of Elbaph.
The feast has started. Luffy and Usopp is very happy that they are finally on Elbaph. Dorry, Brogy, Kashii, Oimo and Hajrudin all expressed their thanks to Luffy and his crew for what they have done for them back in Little Garden, Enies Lobby and Dressrosa respectively.
They are praising Luffy for being an Emperor. They also praised him and his crew as being the “main culprit” for the “Wano Country Incident” that brought down Kaido and Big Mom. And they have a big toast to their friendship. (Hence the chapter title)
“A Sake Cup of Friendship to the Straw Hat Crew!!! CHEERS!!!”
Cut to the Aurust Castle (アウルスト城 – Aurusuto-jou) located on the vicinity of the Western Village of Elbaph.
It’s the castle where the two mysterious people landed in the previous chapter. Two giants ask how they got in and if they’re members of the Straw Hats. The woman speaks and says they’re looking for a fellow named Loki. The giants ask why they’re looking for a criminal like him. They say Loki is the “害悪” (gaiaku – Evil Influence) of Elbaph. The woman persists on asking his whereabouts but the giants said they can’t answer.
The woman appears to throw bandages at one of the giants and the he falls down screaming in pain. The woman then speaks in a condescending manner. “Your head is too high, you impolite fool. Since when did I ask a question? I was ordering you to ‘answer me’…” The other giant is confused to what is going on.
The face of the companion of the woman (the one that looked like Shanks in the past chapter) is not shown in this chapter but we can see his sword handle, which is similar to the sword handle of Shanks’ Gryphon and Garling’s sword.
Cut back to the party.
Stansen introduces himself to Luffy and he now finally learned that Stansen was the captured giant back in Sabaody Archipelago. He said “I felt it was fate’s work when I heard that we have joined under your banner.”
We see a short flashback about Stansen. We even see Stansen’s initial appearance in Sabaody. It’s stated that he’s a childhood friend of Hajrudin. (Hajrudin and Stansen being childhood friends was revealed by Oda back SBS Vol. 89)
Lastly, Jarul arrives at the feast. He’s the former co-captain of the Giant Warrior Pirates alongside with Jorul (who was killed by Linlin) before Dorry and Brogy.
His introduction box says:
Mountain Beard Jarul
Hero of the Giants
Oldest in the world (The Japanese term says 世界最高齢 [sekai saikourei] which literally means world’s oldest) 408 years old
Note: When Jarul and Jorul debuted in Chapter 866, their intro box said “世界最高齢の戦士” (sekai saikourei no senshi) – “oldest warriorsin the world”. Since Jorul died, Jarul is now the “oldest warrior” in the world.
Luffy is very shocked at a sword that appears to be piercing Jarul’s head.
Luffy: Hey, old man! A sword has pierced through your head!
Jarul: Bojajaja! Oh this? Thanks to my helmet, I my life was saved…
Luffy: Even though it’s piercing through it?!
End Note: An Overwhelming Shock!

The Straw Hat Pirates’ Viking Outfits

The narrative then returned to Nico Robin, Franky, Jinbe, and Brook, who finally donned their Viking outfits, similar to those of the other Straw Hat Pirates. Following this, Franky urged Saul to show him the legendary Adam Tree, which was used to construct the Thousand Sunny. Saul explained that while the Adam Tree grows in various parts of the Grand Line, the one in Elbaph is the oldest.

Mysterious Characters at Elbaph Castle

The spoilers then shifted to the castle in Elbaph village, where two mysterious characters were summoned in the previous chapter. The companion of a Shanks lookalike, whose face was covered, inquired about Loki’s location from one of the castle’s guardians. When the guardian refused to answer, the character retaliated by throwing something, causing the guardian to scream in agony.

Celebration and the Cups of Friendship

The final part of the spoilers depicted the Straw Hat Pirates accompanying the giants to a village where they celebrated their reunion. Dorry and Brogy shared the ‘cups of friendship’ with the Straw Hat Pirates, likely reminiscent of the ‘Sakazuki’ ritual, where allies pledge their loyalty over a cup of sake.

The chapter concluded with the surprising entrance of Jarul, the former co-captain of the Giant Pirates, who was confirmed alive in chapter 1130. He had a sword protruding from his head, leaving Luffy astonished. The chapter did not clarify whether Jarul’s condition was critical.

Final Thoughts

One Piece chapter 1135 spoilers strongly suggest that the ‘presumed’ Holy Knights, the two characters summoned to Elbaph Island, may have intentions to kill Loki. Although the reasons behind this remain unclear, it could be linked to King Herald’s relationship with the World Government.
