Paramount Pictures is doubling down on the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise with plans for a fourth film already in motion, just as Sonic the Hedgehog 3 hits theaters worldwide this week. The third installment is projected to earn between $55 million and $60 million USD at the North American box office during its opening weekend, indicating a strong start for future films in the series.
