Get ready for another luxurious escape — HBO’s acclaimed series The White Lotus is officially returning for its third season, premiering in February 2025.
This exciting announcement was made by Warner Bros. Discovery global streaming chief JB Perrette during the Wells Fargo tech and media conference, as reported by Variety. The upcoming season will maintain the dark comedy tone of its predecessors, transporting viewers to stunning locations in Thailand, including Koh Samui, Phuket, and Bangkok.
The new season will feature a star-studded cast, including Leslie Bibb, Jason Isaacs, Michelle Monaghan, Parker Posey, Dom Hetrakul, Tayme Thapthimthong, Walton Goggins, and BLACKPINK’s LISA. Additionally, fan-favorite Natasha Rothwell will reprise her role as Belinda.
In other HBO news, Perrette revealed that Euphoria season three is anticipated to return in 2026, with production kicking off in January 2025. Meanwhile, The Last of Us season two is slated for a Spring 2025 premiere, and the highly-anticipated Game of Thrones prequel, A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms, is set to debut in late 2025.
Interestingly, HBO’s adaptation of the Harry Potter series has been pushed back to a 2027 release as it continues its casting process. Perrette noted, “As you look at ’26 and into ’27, you begin a 10-year journey on the Harry Potter series, which we’re super excited about. And I’d argue, may be the biggest event by the time we get to that series.”
